Field Technician Vacancy x 3 – Full Time, Permanent
We are recruiting for Field Technicians to join our team. The role will involve delivery, treatment, and monitoring of our contracts, taking care of our clients throughout Scotland. More so however, we are looking to find someone to join our family and grow with our business.
A key aspect of the role shall be applying herbicide treatments throughout the growing season (May-October) on residential and commercial sites, completing the required documentation and reporting as part of work. During the winter season, work shall also involve site cutting and mulching in preparation for new season growth. Our technicians also play a key role in supporting excavation works and other operational support requirements associated with the management of invasive species. You will be happy travelling extensively throughout Scotland, particularly during spring and summer months.
The person we are looking for will have an interest and experience in horticulture, ecology, or a similar discipline. They will have a bias for action and be confident working autonomously in fulfilling customer facing responsibilities. An adept user of Microsoft word, with confident writing skills, you will be able to complete treatment reports and other operational documents.

What we need you to have (essential):
- Full UK driving Licence
- Willingness to travel
- A positive, progressive attitude and willingness to develop
Ideally what we would like you to have (desired):
- NPTC Card PA1 & PA6 herbicide spraying certificate
- Knowledge and experience working with invasive species
- Education, background, or experience in horticulture, agriculture or ecology
This is a permanent, full-time position. We are based in Kilsyth, however due to the remote nature of work, would welcome applicants from throughout the west & central Scotland.
