We Are Recruiting for Field Technicians to Join Our Team (Summer Role)

This role involves delivery, treatment, and monitoring of our contracts, taking care of our clients throughout Scotland during the busy growing season.

A key aspect of the role shall be applying herbicide treatments throughout the growing season (June to September) on residential and commercial sites, completing the required documentation and reporting as part of work.

Our technicians also play a key role in supporting excavation works and other operational support requirements associated with the management of invasive plant species.

The person we are looking for has a keen interest and experience in horticulture, ecology, or a similar discipline.

You should be confident working autonomously in fulfilling customer facing responsibilities delivering the high level of service our customers demand.

An adept user of computer/app based systems, with confident writing skills, you will be able to complete treatment reports and other operational documents.

What we need you to have (essential):

  • Full UK driving Licence
  • Willingness to travel
  • A positive, progressive attitude and willingness to develop


Ideally what we would like you to have (desired):

  • NPTC Card PA1 & PA6 herbicide spraying certificate
  • Knowledge and experience working with invasive species
  • Education, background, or experience in horticulture, agriculture or ecology


This is a seasonal position focusing on the growing season months (June to September). We are based near Glasgow, however due to the remote nature of work, would welcome applicants from throughout the west & central Scotland.
